Let's All Move to Noodle Valley

A new hand pulled noodle joint is serving up warming, delicious bowls in Maspeth.

Chef Hui Ni, who goes by Alex, moved from Fuzhou to Maspeth about five years ago, and told Hell Gate that he likes the residential streets and the neighborly feel of his adopted community.

One glaring omission in the area's culinary landscape though? Noodles. Like steaming bowls of hand-pulled noodles, swimming in well-seasoned soups, or mixed up with all kinds of meats and fish and crisp veggies. Round noodles, rice noodles, flat noodles, knife-sliced noodles, cold noodles, egg noodles, what-have-you noodles. Just give us some freaking noodles, Maspeth!
