Frank Seddio Doubles Down on the 'Shaggy Defense'

Brooklyn Democratic Party powerbroker Frank Seddio was back on the stand in state court Monday, continuing his testimony as a judge decides whether he abused the court system to help his client, Yechiel "Sam" Sprei, perpetrate an alleged $2 million fraud on a pair of international investors.

Seddio was his usual garrulous self off the stand outside the courtroom Monday, dispensing advice on family-friendly summer field trip destinations (Amish country, Legoland) and urging reporters to "write something nice about me for once—say I look sharp, say I've got a 12-inch dick!"

Seddio did look sharp, in a blue suit with a Democratic donkey lapel pin. On the stand, however, he appears to be increasingly boxed in by a mounting body of evidence and testimony gathered both in the state proceeding and the federal lawsuit the investors have brought against him, Sprei, and others.
