We had so much fun throwing our first Hell Gate beach party last summer with our pals at Shea Stadium that we're doing it all over again. And this time, we're doubling down!
That's right. We're bringing you two evenings of music, burgers, and sunsets as part of Shea Stadium's summer takeover at Rippers. No tickets required: These are free, all-ages shows. Come on through!
On Friday, July 10, 5 p.m. we'll have Evan Wright's hypnotic folk-country, Wendy Eisenberg's prodigious jazz and experimental guitar, and Steve Gunn's dreamy folky tunes.
Then, join us on Saturday, July 11, at 5 p.m. for an indie pop party, featuring DJ Marc Myst, NYC bedroom pop auteurs Pets, Brooklyn party rockers Foyer Red, nostalgic math pop by Quemarlo Todo Por Error, and the experimental sounds of Discovery Zone.
