ProPublica Workers Demand Accountability—From Their Own Bosses

The ProPublica Guild says negotiations for its first union contract have stalled over "basic" worker protections and guidelines over the use of AI.

On Wednesday afternoon, about 140 unionized employees of the national non-profit newsroom ProPublica stopped working for one hour to send a message to their bosses that they were prepared to go on strike.
