Andrew Cuomo isn't yet running for mayor, but beating him has become a central focus for the candidates who are. A poll released Monday by the Honan Strategy Group found Cuomo dominating the field, winning in the final round of a ranked choice Democratic primary matchup, with 58 percent of the vote to 17 percent for his closest challenger, New York City Comptroller Brad Lander. It's the latest in a series of surveys to reach the same conclusion.
Now a new poll is testing out the best attacks against Cuomo—a man with a long list of liabilities who is widely expected to jump into the race, perhaps as soon as this month.
