Breaking: Eric Adams's Son's Summer Anthem Kind of Goes

The song of the summer could come from anywhere.

Eric Adams's son Jordan Coleman told the New York Post that his new EP "Jet Lag Dreams" is inspired by his time in Albania, where he felt "like a different person." While Coleman, who performs as Jayoo, was in Albania, he appeared in front of the jury on the televised music competition Kënga Magjike to perform his murky trap song "Itsy Bitsy." That one sounded more like a strip club anthem, but the five buoyant "party rap" songs on "Jet Lag Dreams" came about when Coleman realized he needed "to make music that people could relate to when I’m out there." They sound better suited for the beach.

(When Hell Gate spoke with Coleman in 2023 for our Table of Success feature, he told us he "did research and found the Magic Festival in Albania," and bought his own ticket to travel and compete, because he always wanted to be an "international artist.")

"Jet Lag Dreams" actually came out more than a month ago on April 25, but—and I'm not being sarcastic—I was shocked to find that the EP's opening song, "All In My Head" is… not bad. In fact, I found myself asking, why does this kind of slap?
