Now You Fools Will Never Know the Beauty of Flying Spirit Out of LGA

Breezing through Marine Air Terminal with minutes to spare is now just a memory.

Last Monday afternoon, at around 4:10 p.m., I arrived at LaGuardia to board my 4:45 flight to Florida via Spirit Airlines, booked entirely with points earned through dining out on my Spirit Airlines Bank of America Free Spirit® Travel More World Elite Mastercard. I had no reason to worry. Even though the gaudy Spirit yellow kiosks refused to check me in because my flight was already boarding, the customer service attendant knew what I have known for years: I would breeze through the nearly nonexistent security line, and arrive at my gate in a few short steps. As always, by the time I joined the boarding line, I even had time to grab a $15 snack
