When NYPD Officers Are Under Frosty Attack, Snowbody Is Safe

The mayor, governor, City Council speaker, and other New York officials past and present agree: It is wrong, and not funny at all, and perhaps a crime, to throw snowballs at New York's Finest.

You're laughing? Several cops from the NYPD's 6th Precinct in Manhattan were pelted with snowballs, absolutely creamed in a barrage of icy missles by participants of a staged snowball fight contentfest in Washington Square Park, and the whole thing was caught on camera… and you're laughing?

If you think that's funny, think about this: What if the Washington Square Park revelers were legendary baseball pitcher Cy Young, throwing SBs at 90 miles per hour? Or if the snowballs were actually rocks, or chunks of lava, or 30-pound kettlebells? Not so funny now, is it?
