New York Knicks fans in attendance at Thursday's City Hall ceremony could plausibly claim to be living in a dream. The end of the star-studded proceedings literally saw Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the Knicks all dancing to "Empire State of Mind" being performed by Alicia Keys as a blizzard of blue and orange confetti rained down from the heavens.
