More than 384,000 New Yorkers cast their ballots during the early voting period that ended on Sunday afternoon, and roughly a quarter of them are aged 25 to 34, which is music to the ears of Zohran Mamdani, who must turn out young, previously disengaged voters to defeat Andrew Cuomo's older, more conservative base.
