NYPD Clears the Way for ICE in Bushwick

On Saturday night, hundreds of New Yorkers attempted to block masked ICE agents from taking a man into federal custody outside of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Bushwick, and the NYPD helped facilitate the arrest. 

Protesters began converging on the hospital around 10:30 p.m., after word spread through local community action networks that ICE agents had been spotted at the medical center. NYPD officers were captured on video getting physically violent with protesters, shoving people to the ground to ensure ICE agents were able to kidnap their charge.
