Here at Hell Gate, we believe that local journalism is extremely valuable, and that the reporters who do the hard work—coaxing sources, digging through data, covering community board meetings—do so because they genuinely love New York City.

Presenting: In Battle, Bands: A Showcase of NYC Bands Featuring Local Journalists

Join us for an evening of five musical acts that count some of the best reporters and editors in the business as their members—from publications like the CITY, Politico New York, the New York Daily News, the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and of course, Hell Gate.

We are reserving a limited number of free tickets for Hell Gate Supporters and Believers. (This is why you should subscribe.) For everyone else, it will cost $15 pre-sale, $20 at the door.
