Imagine, just for a moment, that you are a Nigerian government construction manager, and you are in need of some rebar, or perhaps some fire retardant. You get a phone call from an unknown number, and it turns out to be an American man selling these very things. You ask politely, "Who is this?" 

"It's Eric Adams."

In this town, (almost) everybody has to work. We are happy to report that our old friend Eric, the former mayor of New York City, has found a job. Kind of. It's what he'll do when he's not going on Fox News to say that Mayor Zohran Mamdani's aim in threatening to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to "raise the heat on Jewish New Yorkers," or exchanging numbers at a Sports Illustrated party at Casa Cipriani

On Monday, the real estate rag The Real Deal published an article excerpting an exclusive interview with the former mayor, set to be released on video on Wednesday. In it, Adams revealed that he is working as a "business development consultant" for "several real estate-related technology companies."
