Department of Correction employees' workers’ compensation claims jumped 337 percent between 2015 and 2024.

According to the indictments, Todd Faustin, who currently works for the DOC, scammed the City out of $469,705 in benefits, while the former employees, Jovanny Concepcion and Steven Murphy, took home $232,427 and $294,037, respectively, in fraudulent benefits.
