Last Friday morning, Eric Adams capped a week in which he both deeply humiliated himself and screwed the rest of us over with some more debasement—as he sat next to Trump's "border czar" Tom Homan and yukked it up on "Fox & Friends," the Trump administration envoy literally told Adams he would be "up his butt" if he didn't do Trump's bidding when it came to immigration enforcement.
The interview came the morning after Danielle Sassoon, the interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, revealed in a resignation letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi that Adams's legal defense team had offered to cooperate with the Trump administration on immigration enforcement in exchange for the charges against him being dropped.
